What’s New in Mishawaka

Big things are happening in the Princess City! Your next stop is just around the corner.

Newly opened in 2020, the Ball Band Biergarten is our newest special event space near Ironworks Plaza. It’s a great new space to listen to music, grab a cold draft beer and take in the beauty of the St. Joseph River.

Calling all craft brewery lovers! We are excited to welcome Indianapolis-based brewery Sun King to the Mishawaka area. The new food hall, featuring Sun King’s award-winning beers and local food vendors, is the perfect place to unwind after a day spent exploring Mishawaka.

Visiting during the winter? Put your balance to the test at the new Ice Ribbon at Beutter Park. Opening for the 2022-23 winter season, we are challenging the idea that winter is a time to be inside.

Our Iconic Riverwalk

Newly renovated and waiting to welcome you, the Mishawaka Riverwalk is one of the busiest attractions in the Mishawaka area. The circular loop follows the path of the St. Joseph River just north of downtown. Explore Mishawaka on this guided pathway, and maybe even see a friend along the way.

Downtown Mishawaka

Known for its historic charm and Midwest hospitality, our downtown area is the heart of our city. Shopping, restaurants, craft beer and community concerts await you. Visiting on a summer Sunday, you’ll find our Farmers Market is the best place to experience the community’s freshest produce and unique gifts.

Play and Gather at Our Parks

Ready to get outside? Mishawaka is home to one of the area’s best park systems. New parks, historic parks, parks with splash pads and parks with sky-high playgrounds. Nature trails weave their way through our green spaces, giving you endless opportunities to be one with nature. We encourage you to bring your family and also bring out your inner child.
