The Uniform Patrol Division is the largest division in the Mishawaka Police Department. There are approximately 72 officers assigned to the Uniform Division.

Uniform Patrol is generally acknowledged as the backbone of the Police Department and the division that is most judged by terms of its performance. The city of Mishawaka, IN has a population of 49,000 residents and is separated into 6 patrol beats that cover the city.

Patrols are provided 24/7. In addition to the 6 patrol beat cars there is an extra patrol car assigned to assist beat cars in that region, in addition to K-9 officers, supervisors, and traffic/or specialty unit cars. These numbers ensure a timely response and patrol coverage throughout the City of Mishawaka

  • 6:30am-2:30pm- 1st Detail
  • 2:30pm-10:30pm- 2nd Detail
  • 10:30pm-6:30am- 3rd Detail
