The City of Mishawaka sincerely hopes you and your family enjoyed our Fourth of July celebration at Beutter Park on Saturday, July 2nd. Great feedback has been received from our residents, and a special gesture of gratitude goes out to Dean McCool who, once again, blew us away with the show. Please keep in mind that fireworks may be shot off from 5:00 pm and continue 2 hours after sundown on: June 29th and 30th; July 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th and July 9th. On July 4th fireworks may be shot off from 10:00 am until 12 (Midnight).
As we reach the half way point in the golf season, we have great hopes that the conditions in the second half will show a vast improvement over what can only be described as a dreary spring. We did have a pretty good June in spite of the less than favorable weather, with several days in the latter half of the month going over 200 players for the day. With the water table so high, it didn’t take much for the golf course to get soft and wet, but considering that we’ve flooded twice this year and had several areas under water for lots of days, the golf course is in good shape.
