2017 Mishawaka Police Memorial Ceremony

The Mishawaka Police Department will honor those who have fallen in the line of duty with a memorial ceremony on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 6:00pm.  The ceremony will take place at the Mishawaka Police Department located at 200 North Church Street in Mishawaka.

The public is invited.

Merrifield Park Riverwalk Extension

The City of Mishawaka, working through our partners at the Indiana Department of Transportation and the Michiana Area Council of Governments (MACOG), recently awarded the planned extension of the Mishawaka Riverwalk through Merrifield Park to Rieth-Riley Construction of South Bend. The project includes the relocation of the existing access drive, the construction of the Riverwalk, creation of a more formal boat launch, new parking, and a replacement restroom building. 

Independence Day Celebration - July 1st

Join Mishawaka Parks on Saturday, July 1st, for an Independence Day Celebration you will not want to miss! Featuring events, activities and attractions for all ages in Central, Beutter and Kamm Island Parks. Festivities begin at 7:00am with the Mishawaka Lion's Club pancake breakfast and conclude with a spectacular fireworks display beginning between 10:15-10:30p.

Ribbon Cutting For New Food Pantry Garden

The City of Mishawaka, in partnership with Penn Township and the Mishawaka Food Pantry, will hold a brief ribbon cutting and planting ceremony on May 2nd, 11:30am, at the recently constructed Mishawaka Food Pantry Garden. The garden is located at the southeast corner of the intersection of Hill Street and Lincolnway West in downtown Mishawaka, immediately west of the Mishawaka Food Pantry located at 315 Lincolnway West.
