Mishawaka's Environmental Center, at 1105 E. 5th Street, is open year round, Tuesday-Saturday, from 8:30am to 3:15pm. The Center provides an outlet for Mishawaka residents to bring small amounts of yard waste and common household chemicals to be recycled.

The Environmental Center no longer accepts bottles, cans, newspapers, cardboard or other common household products for recycling. Mishawaka residents can recycle those products through the City Curbside Recycling Program.
