Burn Ban Update

As a reminder, the city-wide burn ban prohibiting any type of recreational and open burning continues to be in effect until further notice. Originally declared on June 15th, 2012 by Mayor Dave Wood, the ban is a necessity due to the continued dangerous drought conditions within the city and the surrounding areas. Burning of any kind could cause a threat to the health, safety and well-being of neighbors and adjoining property.  Until such conditions change, citizens are asked to adhere to the ban for the safety of everyone in the community.
